Explosion at café in Bengaluru, individual who planted IED bomb identified on CCTV.

At least ten individuals sustained injuries in an explosion at the renowned Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru. Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar announced that the individual who placed the bag containing the IED has been identified on CCTV.

On Friday afternoon, a bomb exploded at Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram Cafe, resulting in injuries to at least ten people. Karnataka’s Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, verified that the explosion was triggered by an IED. He stated that a man placed a bag containing the device inside the cafe. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar confirmed that the perpetrator has been identified on CCTV. According to him, the suspect is approximately 28 to 30 years old and ordered Rava Idli at the cafe.

Sources informed the Chief Minister that besides the IED discovered in the bag, no additional explosive devices were found on the premises. Apart from the incident in Mangaluru during BJP rule, such blasts haven’t occurred recently. This is the first such incident during our government,” he elaborated.
