    In the upcoming T-20 World Cup 2024, the Indian men’s cricket team is set to face archrivals Pakistan on June 9 in New York. The tournament, scheduled to take place in the West Indies and the USA from June 1 to 29, features India and Pakistan in Group A alongside Ireland, Canada, and the USA.

    The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan clash will unfold in a state-of-the-art 34,000-seat modular stadium situated approximately 50 kilometers east of downtown Manhattan in Nassau County, New York. This venue is set to host a total of eight matches during the course of the tournament.

     

    The International Cricket Council (ICC) disclosed the draws and schedule for the T-20 World Cup 2024 on Friday.

    Here’s a breakdown of the teams and groups for the T-20 World Cup 2024:

    Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, USA

    Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman

    Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea

    A total of 20 teams, arranged into four groups of five, are scheduled to compete in 55 matches during the T-20 World Cup 2024. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight phase, where the remaining teams will be divided into two groups of four. The leading two teams from each Super Eight group will then progress to the semi-finals.

    The T-20 World Cup 2024’s group stage is set to take place from June 1 to 18, followed by the Super Eight phase from June 19 to 24. The semi-finals are scheduled for June 26 and 27 in Guyana and Trinidad, respectively, while the final will be held on June 29 in Barbados.
